OHSU Ombuds Office

The OHSU Ombuds Office offers a free, confidential and safe place to discuss issues you’re experiencing within your role at OHSU.
We serve members of the OHSU community, including faculty, staff, administrators, learners, post-doctoral fellows, residents, trainees and volunteers. This includes members at regional campus locations in Ashland, Bend, Klamath Falls, La Grande and Monmouth.
What we do
The ombudsperson, or ombuds, can help with many concerns. They act as a confidential, fair and neutral resource when you’re dealing with a problem at OHSU. They will listen without judgment and help you explore your options.
The ombuds works independently and is not affiliated with any department or entity. It is not a decision-making role and does not take a position in a conflict or dispute. The ombuds’ goal is to create an environment of balanced conflict resolution with a focus on healthy, equitable solutions.
Where to find us
The ombuds office offers consultation in person, by video or by phone. To schedule an appointment, visit the ombuds page on O2.

The ombuds does not:

- Investigate, adjudicate or participate in formal grievance processes
